I received this book through goodreads giveaways for an honest review. Family Wars Episode 1: The Forced Dinner is a parody on Star Wars with Dark Zader living with his kids and wanting to get his job back with the Emperor. I can see how some people would really enjoy the book - it just wasn't for me. The humor just didn't work for me and the book needs some editing - there was a repeating paragraph and some words were incorrect.

This is a parody of Star Wars for kids, but I still enjoyed most of it. I recognized enough of the Star Wars history to be able to follow along and also to guess which characters were being parodied.

I won this book through Goodreads. Very funny and quirky parody of Star Wars. A must for fans of the series. Loved it.
